Hello, I’ve been using CorelDRAW Go for a few days and I have some suggestions to improve its usability:
Automatic background removal: This feature would save time by avoiding manual tracing of image silhouettes.
Improvement of the Freehand tool: Similar to CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, allowing the joining of traces or the continuation of lines from nodes would facilitate the bordering of complex images. Currently, bordering photographs is very difficult.
Hello, while working in CorelDRAW Go, I noticed a possible improvement in mask frame editing:
Mask frame editing: Currently, a single click outside the frame closes the editing. It would be more efficient to use a double-click, just like to start editing. This would prevent accidental closures when selecting elements outside the frame, simplifying the workflow.
Hello, I have another suggestion for custom mask frames in CorelDRAW Go:
Custom mask frames: I created a mask frame with the Freehand tool, bordering an object in a photograph. When inserting the photograph into the frame, the image changed size and position. It would be more efficient to maintain the original position and size of the photo when inserting it, avoiding subsequent manual adjustments.
Hello, I have a suggestion to improve mask frames in CorelDRAW Go:
Pasting objects into mask frames: Pasting multiple objects into mask frames is problematic. Ctrl+C/X and Ctrl+V results in objects being pasted outside the frame’s edit mode. Also, the right-click “Paste” option is unavailable. Fixing this would significantly improve mask frame functionality.
Hi Christian, thanks a lot for all your suggestions.
Curious about copy paste into mask frames. The frames are designed so you can drag items into them not copy paste in them… Is dragging not working for you? Or is there a specific reason you prefer to copy paste rather than drag?
To answer your question, it’s not that I specifically need to copy and paste, but rather that I would like there to be more freedom and for basic program functions to remain available within the mask frame edit mode, so I can continue designing within edit mode as if I were outside of it. Something like how the PowerClip tool in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite works, where there’s no difference between what I can do inside edit mode and what I can do outside, which is fantastic… I can copy, paste, select multiple objects, and they don’t move or change size.
Among the things that edit mode doesn’t allow you to do, apart from copying and pasting, is the ability to select multiple objects from the objects menu. If you try to select more than one object at a time from the objects panel, you can’t. It only allows you to select multiple objects from the screen, which presents a problem if I want to select several small objects or objects that are behind others.
I hope this has answered your question. I hope it helps. Regards!
